The AWM Investment Committee is responsible for managing all client assets. This includes asset allocation, portfolio construction, security selection, tax management, portfolio monitoring and rebalancing, trade oversight and more.

The Committee has decades of experience investing billions of dollars and delivering innovative solutions for high net worth individuals and professional athletes. Our objective is to help you build and maintain superior, personalized investment portfolios by understanding and focusing on your needs and priorities, then taking into account how global events impact capital markets and your investment portfolio.

ANNE P. AVERILL, CFA®

Anne joined Penniall & Associates in August 2010 after working for Marriott International in their Corporate Finance & Accounting department for 2 years. Anne graduated from the University of San Diego in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Marketing and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®). Anne is the Chairperson of their investment committee and is responsible for the investment research and performance analysis of client portfolios. Anne also assists with the monitoring of investment options for the retirement services division.

 BRANDON AVERILL, CFP®, CIPM

Brandon’s experience of being a professional athlete, corporate banker, business owner, and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™  professional brings a dynamic process to working with clients on investment planning and management strategies.

Brandon attended UCLA where he was a captain on the Baseball Team. After graduating with a degree in Sociology and minor in Political Science, he was drafted by the Houston Astros in the MLB Amateur Draft. Brandon played two years of professional baseball before beginning a career in Corporate Banking with Union Bank.

Following a four-year stint in Corporate Banking, he transitioned into private wealth management to pursue his passion to help educate individuals and their families on their financial lives.

 Erik Averill, CFP®

Erik brings a comprehensive perspective to a professional athlete’s financial needs through his experience as a professional athlete, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and business owner. Erik holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Erik was an All-American baseball player and captain of the ASU Baseball Team. He was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 2005. He played professional baseball from 2005– 2008.
